Student organisations pooled their fundraising, volunteers and field capacity to support communities affected by the 2024 floods in Cumilla.
The project
The first phase brought Adamjee Cantonment College Social Welfare Club, Eunoia Society and Hashi Ekshathe together to extend relief to flood-affected communities in Isapur and Burichang, Cumilla.
A second field update documented the delivery of essential supplies and immediate assistance. Public expenditure records identify food, medicine and other flood-response costs during the campaign period.
The project demonstrated an early partnership model: combine student fundraising, local coordination and field capacity so support can move quickly during an emergency.
