Battling the Cold mobilised donors and students to deliver practical winter protection to communities in Saidpur and Rangpur.
The project
The campaign began with a public appeal for blankets, warm clothing and financial support. Donors could contribute in person through student volunteers at participating institutions or use mobile payment channels.
Field teams travelled to Saidpur and Rangpur—among the colder regions of Bangladesh—to distribute winter protection at the end of December.
More than 200 blankets were delivered. The campaign became one of Hashi Ekshathe’s clearest early examples of a complete cycle from public appeal and fundraising to a documented field outcome.
