The Eid Food Project documented the full process from fundraising and shopping to packing and delivery for madrasa children.
The project
Volunteers packed 55 bags. Each contained one kilogram of pulao rice, one kilogram of lentils, one litre of cooking oil, 500 grams each of salt and sugar, and 200 grams of shemai.
The ingredients were selected to provide families and madrasa children with the staples for an Eid meal rather than a pre-cooked, one-time serving.
A sequence of Instagram posts documented the complete delivery cycle: shopping on 9 June, packing on 10 June, and two days of distribution on 11–12 June.
Documented outcomes
Figures shown exactly as supported by the project archive.

Distribution in Dhaka followed fundraising, shopping and packing.

Fifty-five food bags were distributed in June 2024.

Volunteers weighed rice, lentils and other staples before distribution.

The final stage of the four-day project was direct community delivery.
